Hi! My name is Kim Young. I am mostly known around the clinic as Mom or Grammie. When you call I will most likely be the one to answer your call, the first person you meet when you walk in the door, and the one behind the desk or playing with the boys when you show up for your appointment.
I formerly ran my own small business for over twenty years and have recently moved into the position of office manager for Young Family Chiropractic and I am looking forward to the new challenge!
When I am not in the office, I fill my time with lots of activities. I have been a member and leader of Bible Study Fellowship International for a number of years and I am an active member of my church. In the summers, I enjoy going camping with my family and friends and I love being at the ocean or playing in the water.
I have been married to my best friend for over 30 years and we spend most of our free time together. I love animals and am the proud owner of Oscar the golden retriever (who is a perpetual puppy). One of my favorite pastimes is playing Grammie to Jack, Henry and Calvin, so coming to work is the best part of my day!
I can’t wait to meet you! See you soon!
Hi! My name is Dr. Jennifer Young, owner/chiropractor of Young Family Chiropractic. My passion for healthcare started at a young age and matured to be a desire to meet people when they are hurting and help them become the best version of themselves that they can possibly be.
I began my education at Washington State University and eventually attended Palmer College of Chiropractic-West in San Jose, California for my doctorate. I believe that I received a spectacular education there that has prepared me to be a skilled, intuitive physician.
While I was a student at Palmer, I became involved in the pediatrics club and served as the president for my last two years at school. I have a special interest in prenatal and pediatric chiropractic and studied with different doctors with pediatric diplomats. I also attended pediatric training in various seminars, lectures, and conferences. I studied many different techniques including Thompson drop and Sacro-occipital techniques and while I use an Activator on occasion, I do most of my adjusting manually and consider my self to be a diversified doctor.
While I specialize in pediatrics and prenatal chiropractic I have worked extensively with athletes, elderly patients and those with chronic and acute injuries. I have been involved in a variety of other clubs and organizations affiliated with Palmer that specialize in working with these patients. I feel that my most important job as a doctor is to listen and address your concerns. I am committed to your health and desire to work with you toward reaching your personal health goals.
On a personal level, I am an avid outdoor enthusiast. I spend as much of my free time as possible camping, fishing, hiking and just playing outside! Family is especially important to us and my husband, CJ, or any one of our three boys, Jack, Henry or Calvin, may be at the office welcoming you when you come in for an appointment. In fact, my mother-in-law, Kim, is the office manager! We are a close family and want more than anything to bring a warm, inviting atmosphere to you and your family as you come into the office.
Young Family Chiropractic is more than a name to us, when you are here we want you to feel like a part of our family. Just like a family, you’re accepted for who you are and we will be there for you. Like a healthy family, we get excited to see you reaching your potential! Come on by, bring the family and be a part of a very different type of chiropractic office. We’ll be glad to have you!
When you walk in the door Mom will check you in and one, two or all three of our sons (Jack, Henry and Calvin) will welcome you to the office. Young Family Chiropractic is more than just a name to us, it is the experience we hope to present to each and every person that walks through the door. We want you to feel like you're part of the family, that you are coming home. Bring your kids, bring the family, bring your friends. Everyone is welcome here and while it might seem a bit different from the uncomfortable silence of most medical waiting rooms, we prefer our waiting room to be filled with giggling babies, playing children and warm conversations.
